Not worth the savings...

The apartment complex is not worth the money you save by living there. They have absolutely no compassion for their tennants.
They nit pick about every little thing and wont even let you put an american flag in your window, however they still give the children there enough freedom to throw footballs around and hit cars with them.
The only way you get away with anything is if you are friends of the people who work there. When I first moved in I had to listen to spanish music blasting out every night for 2 months until the people moved out and the people there were friends of one of the office employees. I called down and complained but nothing was ever done. It's funny I got a noise complaint for running the noisy stackable washer and dryer during the day because it woke up someone that worked 3rd shift when it went on spin cycle. I guess I was supposed to pay to wash clothes at a laundromat because they are too lazy to fix the washer/dryers.
I lived there for 2 years and it was a constant battle. Our A/C broke and it took 3 days for them to fix it and that's only because I got a doctors note saying that I had anxiety that was set off by heat and needed a/c. I left there because they refused to fix my wall. The whole side of the wall was taking on water in between the outside wall and the inside wall, which explains why we had to have the tile in our shower replaced every month, it kept falling into the wall because of the moisture.
I didn't feel safe staying there because by the time we left the entire wall from the dining area to the back bedroom was so wet on the inside that you could push in the drywall without applying much pressure. I know they didn't even fix it because the apartment was rented and someone was parked in my space shortly after we moved out.
My car was broken into and stolen in the parking lot, which I found out happens all of the time there & the alleged security camera's that they have all over the place don't even exist. We asked for them to send the tape to the PC police department and they said they couldn't. We spoke to someone who worked there and they said that the camera's aren't hooked up. The one above the pool entrance doesn't even work. It's a shame it doesn't because while I was there a woman was shot at the mailboxes.
There is no gate to this community, which is ridiculous because they know of the car thefts and don't care. They have a retention pond on the left and apartments on the right on the only entrance and exit to the complex so the only cost would be for the access gate & they said that the owner's wouldn't pay for it.
Seriously, if you value your car at all I wouldn't stay here. The night my car was stolen the sheriff said that 6 other cars were taken in the parking lot and no one heard any alarms or anything. The sheriff said it happened all of the time there.
When I was moving out I went to the office to have the place inspected so I could get my security deposit back and the people in the office lied to me and said the the manager had to do that and she was out sick for the day. Just then I saw her walking in the hallway. I walked back to her office and told her I wouldn't leave without getting the apartment inspected. These people are lazy and are only out to help themselves.
Like everyone says... this apartment complex never improves itself and your rent will skyrocket every year.
Long story short, pay more & save yourself the hassle. It's not worth it.

I have been here more than 8 years and never anyone has been shot here. That's a lie. Don't you have better things to do than to make up stuff. Compared to others communities in the area hardly ever is a car vandalized here and it happens to everyone even gated communities. |
