I lived in these apartments for three years. For a year I was in a downstairs one bedroom, and for the last two I was in a downstairs two bedroom. The only real issue I had in this community was the noise. Although when I moved from a the three story building (one bedroom) to the two story building (two bedroom) I noticed a significant reduction in the noise from upstairs. I figured the ceilings must have been a little thicker in the two story buildings. I suppose where ever you live when you are around a multitude of people there will be some noise. Aside from that though, this community was a pleasant experience overall. I had a good relationship with the management staff (who I believe is no longer there), if a problem arose that I could not fix on my own the issue was taken care of promptly, the space in both apartments was ample, and the rent prices were the best I could find in the area between Brandon and Plant City for the square footage. As for the other tenants, I never had any problems with the fact that I was a minority in this community and neither did anyone else I spoke to or knew. There were quite a few kids living in the community when I was there, but I only had one incident that stemmed from my choice of apartments when I moved into the second building directly in front of the playground. My window was cracked one afternoon during a game of whiffle ball, but it was promptly fixed the next day. When I lived in the first building, the kids only occasionally ran though. Finally, when I told the staff I needed to break my lease, they had no problems with it. They merely asked for a sixty day notice to which I complied. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who doesn't mind living in Plant City. In fact the drive into Brandon is not bad at all.
