It is true that the last couple of years have seen a sharp decline in the quality of maintenance, especially in the area of lighting. However, they have done quite a bit in other areas in the last two calendar years, including: resurfacing the parking lots, repainting the exteriors and stairways/landings of all buildings, replacing the light fixtures at both pools, replacing the awnings on the breezeways, and pruning the landscaping.

When I've reported a problem in my unit, it has almost always been addressed within 48 hours, if during the week. I too have heard the complaints from people who wait weeks, but it hasn't been my experience. Maybe it just depends on how long one has lived here or one's rapport with the office staff.

I've had no problems with vandalism, drugs, or murders. The most noise I hear overnight is someone's dryer buzzing upon completion. The current condo conversion has a lot of activity with retiling the pool area and redoing some of the landscaping. It started four days after the announcement, so things are on an upswing.
