Great place to live From: guitargrl325 Date posted: 5/20/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   My husband and I have lived here for just about a year and we will be renewing our lease for another year. We really love it here. We have had only one problem and that is with roaches, but that is pretty much par for the course down here in Florida. I have never lived in such a quiet community. The grounds are kept very well and trash is picked up at your door every morning. The gym is a pretty typical apartment gym with minimal equipment, but we have a gym membership so we don't really use it. The pool area is beautiful and looks like a resort. There is a sidewalk that runs around the complex with dog poop clean up stations, which is great for our two dogs. Kevin, the manager is fantastic. He always remembers our names and takes care of any issues that come up. Also, we are getting a great deal to renew our lease such that our rent is not going up at all. We live in a 3/2 and there is so much closet space, it's phenomenal. Now for the not so great things. Sometimes the gate will stand open for weeks at a time. It's been working lately though. However, they can't seem to get our names into the list, so whenever people come over, I have to drive to the front and use my gate thing to open the gate. Not that big of a deal. The countertops in the kitchen suck. They are some sort of porcelein or something and scratch so easily and if you put anything on them that is slightly damp with any color on it, it will stain the countertops. You have to really scrub with bleach and softscrub to get it out. I feel safe here with the police station directly across the road. It's also very convient to Publix, Blockbuster and Winn-Dixie which is great. All in all, it's such an improvement over where we used to live for the same price. AND for a much LARGER and NEWER apartment(previously lived in Harbour Towne Of Jacaranda...what a nightmare)
