The last of the apartments were finished sometime around new years 03/04 and during this first year it's been nothing but an awesome place to live! The only complaints would be related to the growing pains that comes from completing the work around the apartments and possibly that the walls are thin (even though they say they are specially sound proof designed, go figure'). The area is perfect! Close to EVERYTHING you need... even walking distance, but yet secluded and a very quiet neighborhood. The vaulted ceilings on the top floors in each building are wonderful and parking is a problem of the past! I would give Lakehurst the highest recommendation to anyone thinking about living in Port Orange or near Daytona Beach!
