I decided not to renew my lease with Hawthorne Place Apartments due to the worsening condition of the complex over the past 6 months. As required by the lease terms, we turned in a written 60 day notice on time and left the apartment in perfect condition. After 60 days we had not recieved our deposit back so I went to the complex and spoke with Susan who stated that in fact the money was owed to us and she would contact Naples Realty Group to have it sent. It has now been over 115 days and we are yet to recieve our deposit. Everytime I contact the complex I get another excuse and everytime I contact Naples Realty I have to leave a voice mail. I have contacted each over a dozen times and never once recieved a call back. As for the complex, it looks horrible. Buildings are literally falling apart, grass is unmowed and the crime rate is skyrocketing in that area. There are soo many other places actually worth the price in rent you should look at. STAY AWAY BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
