The Office Staff Sucks - Maintenance is good - Don't live here if you have kids, or you walk around your apt on the 2nd fl.

The noise isn't bad - I rarely had issues with that while I lived there. I did have issues with the staff - I can't remember the two girls who were pregnant but they were both B's on wheels! I dreaded having to call in a maintenance request. I lived there 4 years and in that time, my bathroom floor had to be replaced 3 times, leaving me with 3 people using 1 bathroom for over 2 weeks. But, since I had a bathroom, they did nothing for my inconvenience.

The maintenance man locked my cat in a garage for a week, and when a little girl came and told me that they could hear her meowing and saw her paw under the door, I went around the corner to the maintenace man's apartment and asked him to open the maintenace garage. His wife told me no, because it was the Sunday before Memorial Day. I said that I was going to call the police on the message that I left with the office. I called back and placed an emergency maintenance call and the guy came and let the cat out. She was close to death when I got her to the ER vet. She was dehydated, hadn't eaten, had lost weight, and ate for 30 minutes and drank water for another 30 minutes also with the IV. They let me take her home and I got notice that I was being charged for a maintenance call that wasn't an emergency.

I do have two children - one old enough to play outside and the other not. The older one got blamed for everything that was done, from someone writing the "n" word in front of a garage (she's bi-racial and I know she wouldn't call anyone that word b/c she comes home from school now and says someone called her the "n" word - and doesn't use the actual word.) Bushes were tore up and someone threw a bottle of water at a car. She was blamed, and a note left on my door that I had 7 days to remedy the problem or be evicted. Hmm, last time I checked, I can't just get rid of my child. Two, she was out of the state on vacay while this was done. I had my mom call the office, speak to someone and had Jenny call them back at the phone number and then look the phone number up to prove that it was a house number 1200 miles away, and they still didn't believe it wasn't my daughter.

I ended up getting evicted shortly after, when a new tenant moved in downstairs. He banged on the ceiling constantly, even if we were already in bed sleeping. He would stare us down as we left in the morning, by sitting there with his blinds up, and giving us dirty looks and calling us names. The next day, he shoved my daughter when she got home from school and said she had skipped school. I called the police and had my husband go there and meet me there. The police took the report, noted the bruises on my daughter's arms where she had been shoved into the door frame and left. The apartment said it wasn't their issue, it was between him and us. They also said that they had numerous complaints about noise from the tenants who lived there previously, but could produce nothing when I asked to see my file.

I paid my rent, the check was returned to me Certified Mail with a letter that they wouldn't accept the check and that I was being evicted. Then when I looked my name up on Google, it came up as being a bad tenant, noise maker, filthy apartment, I didn't watch my kids so DCP was called on me, I also neglected them, etc., etc. So on top of being evicted, I had a case with DCF and I had to prove that the allegations were unfounded. Thankfully the case didn't stick because my kids come first.

I would say, if you're younger, or older and don't have kids, this is the place for you. If you have kids - run like Forest Gump. And if you don't pray you don't have my old neighbor. If they had let me move to a first floor apartment or made him move to a second floor apartment, things might have been better, but I doubt it. I know that he was in a car accident, so he was probably coming off his Vicodin when he mysteriously heard the three of us partying it up on a Tuesday night at 1 a.m.

My laundry was stolen out of the dryer - so be careful of leaving your things in the dryer even a few minutes over the hour it takes them to dry. When I posted a notice in the laundry room that I wanted my things back, the office called me and said I was not allowed to do that. Even though there were security camera's they coincidentally happened to not be working that Sunday afternoon.

I find it hard to believe that every problem stated in this review was the fault of the apartment complex.

I too lived there for 4 years and can only remember one pregnant girl and definitely not two pregnant at the same time. You may want to check your story.

From your intense description, I think I can remember who you are. I lived on the property for 3 years and seem to remember your daughter running around unsupervised all the time, no wonder your neighbor called for help, I thought of doing so myself several times. And did you say you were evicted? To me it sounds like you have personal beef about the way your life turned out and are trying to place the blame on others....your really reliable source! You should find something better to do with your time than hate on everyone and everything.

Again whatever...my daughter is 12 so it's not as if she was out hooking or anything, she was playing and riding her Rip Stick. I didn't know that there was an age limit as to when they're allowed to be outside. My 5-year old was never outside unless I was out and we spend 99% of the time on the weekends at the pool. I love how I had an 'intense description'. How about a detailed description? That works much better and is better English. While we're on the subject, please learn the difference between your (possessive) and you're (you are). Funny, you say I should find something better to do with my time, maybe you should take your own advise...do you have nothing better to do then attack me for having an opinion? I said it's a great place to live unless you have kids. One neighbor in 4 years called on me for making noise. He called if we so much as walked on the floor. No one else ever had a problem with us. Obviously you need to read a little better because he had NO right to attempt to hit my child and then push her. If you were so concerned about my daughter, then why didn't you call someone? The loser downstairs called DCF on me and filed a complaint which was unfounded. My children are well taken care of, fed, clothed and yes, the 12-yr old likes to go outside. Also, her being called the "n" word by a family at the pool, including one who was so friendly to me only because she wanted to meet my sister because she's on the radio. I'd be willing to bet that you work in the office. Lastly, notice that the page is called "OPINION" and this was my opinion and experience. I never had one problem until the old guy moved in below me.

OH MY GOD. What a -----. I know who this woman is and she thinks I was only friendly to her because her sister was on the radio?? Are you kidding me with this ----? I am a polite person and NEVER said a bad thing about you. I would NEVER call anyone the "N" word especially a little kid. And by the way your kid was a holy terror. I do not appreciate your comments at all. I didn't give two shits if I ever met your sister. I am a fan of THE SHOW, not your sister. She is a dumbass that got herself fired from the show! You are an idiot and I'm glad you got your sorry ass kicked out. I was nothing but nice to you.
