I have been living here for quite a while, since the buildings opened. It was pretty obvious as soon as I moved in that these apartments are not what the wealthy investors advertize as "Luxury" apartments but they do charge for rent on the luxury level. I looked around and they are one of the most expensive. They do draw you in with a decent move in deal but then you feel stuck when they jack up your rent 20% when the lease runs out.

Yes, the outside structure is pretty solid because it withstood the 2004 hurricanes relatively well, but the inside of the apartment was put together, it seems, in just a couple of days. Shotty workmanship, cheap appliances, cheap quality of the fixtures, building material, sound & heat insulation, layout and design is poor having very little storage space. Things fall apart monthly, and many times I fix them myself because the maintenance crew is not only late (days, sometimes a week) but absolutely inept. What some of the other reviews say about the construction of the place is absolutely true.

-Problems with ants and outside noise at least in my building.
-Yes, parking is very good although have experienced light vandalism.
-The place does feel relatively secure.
-The overall appearance of the community is very nice, I do have to say that the grounds are kept well. We do have a problem with the trash. Only one container for too many apartments. Trash is usually overflowing.
-Staff is helpful and corteous but the management quality is not up to par.

Watch out for very positive reviews that are posted by people with interests in this property or people who work here.

I agree-- everything here is true. Please don't mistake the positive reviews for the truth! You will regret it if you move in here.
