Where should I start...

I was one of the first to move into this community. In fact, I was the first resident of the brand new apartment I moved in. Third floor that is. My first experience with management (of the time) was a rude fat b..ch manager and a similar assistance manager. I had given up when she called me back apologizing and inviting me to start over. I gave in, mostly attracted by the cheap prices offered to fill in the newly constructed buildings. And that was where I erred. White trash poured in as neighbors. I called the police on a neighbor who was yelling the loudest and most obscene names to a girlfriend in the parking lot. He was about to attack her physically when I intervened... Among many other problems were trash, vomit, dog crap everywhere including sidewalks, an ocean of fleas (I do have an extremely healthy dog myself for 5 years who had never had fleas until we moved here). I have been battling fleas with constant weekly baths on his and multiple doses of flea prevention medication. Extremely dark place - lights are mostly off or inexistent; brand new dishwasher came entirely out of the cabinet, but not before it leaked multiple times while the maintenance workers simply battled me to say I did not know how to operate a dishwasher properly. My wife was insulted with a demeaning approach from a maintenance fatty while on the swimming pool and the assistance manager I mentioned above ripped off a piece of paper off her hands. I had to put her on her place. Anyway... the entrance to the apartments is very dark at night. No lights at all. Very noisy - neighbors slamming door or doors poorly adjusted to close softly make every in and out of a unit a loud event. Neighbors running like animals up and down the stairs literally shake the whole building such poor quality construction it is. Did I mention almost zero amenities compared to what you know as "luxury living" as they claim to offer' Ah... if you like tennis, move elsewhere. Also, there have been people knocking on my door while I was out walking my dog. My wife was alone at home. Until someone is shot dead trying to break into an apartment, this flea farm will continue to be very unsafe to life.
Then the update... this was all last year. Now a new management, seems to be tackling most of the problems. The place seems to be cleaner, but the noise did not subside (that an inherent construction problem). Neighbors do not seem to fit the white trash bill anymore but the flea problem is huge here. If you have allergies or animals, be warned. I'm moving out this month and will keep this as a wild ride memory....

I know exactly who this resident is because I live in your area. We met in the parking lot one day while each of us were walking our dogs. You went on and on about your experience here and the management. You are a complete weird and very odd man with big glasses. I dont know where you came from, but you obviously need to go back there. You have no room to talk about noisy neighbors or "white trash" when you are obviously one yourself. You are also an animal abuser..leaving your dog out on your patio in very hot weather and he barks all day long. Someone should call the Humaine Society on you. Also, when you write a letter of complaint, you really should proof read your letter and use a dictionary, because you cannot spell certain words. Thats a bid joke right there alone HA HA HA HA HA Maybe if you were such a picky person, you should have researched the apartments a little better before moving to them. These apartments have common hallways with front doors facing each other, so of course you are going to have a noise problem. And for the comments that you made about fat people....you really should take a look at yourself and your wife, because people can always lose weight, but you will ALWAYS be ugly.....and most importantly you are such an ugly person inside...."WIFE BEATER". Thats right....we hear you at night! |

I am shocked by this persons comment. Are you sure that you live at Colonial Village at Twin Lakes, because the way you described it, it sounds like you live somewhere else. I have never experienced anything like what you have described. This is a very nice complex, and it sounds like you are just being nasty. People like you should be ashamed for coming on here and making personal insults toward the staff by calling them "fatty". That is just plain childish and uncalled for. From what it sounds like from "unhappyresponder" you have been a nightmare neihbor. You are a disgrace.

Ok I live in these apartments too, and I dont know what hes talking about! Yes I do agree that it is noisey I live on the 3rd floor facing the parking lot! Big mistake I can hear evryone outside, even if you are on the phone one night I heard a whole phone conversation! Other than that I really like this place we only have a one bedroom and I think that its very small but you get what you pay for! NO problems with the apartments I would recommend them to a friend! Also the staff is very friendly and attentive!
