Nice looking apartments but troublesome

I was one of the first people to move into these apartements last year. The apartments were nice and the office staff were very respectful and courteous. I agree with everyone else that mentioned the noise problem. Doors slam very loudly and the walls are paper thin. I lived on the first floor with upstairs neighbors with a dog. You really can hear everything your neighbors are saying and I had to deal with their dog running around on the ceiling. Very annoying. I would have to say my biggest issue were the other residents at the apartments. Some were very rude and unconsiderate. And parking is terrible!! The parking garages take up a lot of space in front of the buildings. I work nights and could never find a spot close to my building, and would have to work through the parking lot in the dark. There's no security monitoring the complex. And if you want a view of the lake, don't live on the first floor. You have no privacy because there's always noisy people walking their dogs along the back of the building and looking in through your sliding glass doors into your entire apartment. A lot of residents have dogs and don't clean up after them, although the apartment does have clean up stations in the grass. Overall, the apartment was nice, if you don't mind noise and rude neighbors.
