The leasing and office staff are young and rude with no customer service whatsoever. Count on your neighbors being white trash, rude, or possibly drug dealers. The complex as a whole is not kept clean or maintained at all. Expect the apartment to be barely vaccumed or cleaned when you move in. Not enough parking. Appliances are old. It was a glorious day when I wrote my last rent check and moved out.

Yah, Id say I couldnt agree with you more on that. We couldn't wait to get the heck out after 2 months of being there. As far as the drug dealing. I've had to pick up little baggies around my building. And the neighbors would sit out on their balcony and smoke weed all the time. The kids would be fighting in the parking lot with other residents. Not sure what it was all about. But it was brutal. It was pointless to call the courtesy officer. He never has or will do anything for anyone, They need to find someone else who will actually get off their ass and help someone. As far as when we moved out, We left the apartment in better shape than when we moved in. And they took over 600$ out of our deposit. I still have yet to get a call back on why that is. And I highly doubt I will get a response. But It is rediculous. Just make sure you leave nothing of value in your car or home, Because its a 70% chance that someone will steal it. But then again they are hurting for tenants because of everyone leaving because of the BS that goes on, that they are letting just about anyone move in. Trash Included. I almost wish It was further from my new place so they don't push the rifraff over this way. But then again, I guess crappy people are attracted to crappy places. I would NEVER recommend that hole to anyone.

i agree totally with you. i had a crackdealer living right next to me and the management office knew about it for quite sometime and did nothing about it. this man had so many people in and out of his apartment it was incredible. i broke the lease due the lack of crime free housing and unsuitable living conditions after immediately moving in encountering roaches, mold, spiders, floods and electrical issues. i received a notice that they want $2400 in rent for breaking the lease. i am taking them to small claims for the states maximum as per my attorneys advise. the buildings are not up to code that is why they are being completly renovated as well. they are offering new tenants 2 months free rent and not giving credits to the current tenants at all. they allow trailer and park trash to move in especially now since no one in their right mind will. also, the reposts on here are done so by the office employees....its ridiculous they will respond to these posts but not to actual compliants by tenants...amazing!!!!

B.S. They have lowered rent for everyone and given ample notice before tearing down any walls, etc. You knew what you were gettig yourself into and should be accountable for paying the remainder of the money owed. They will probably laugh at you in court.

Re Response of 9/26/07 There tearing apart our bldg. and are raising out rent for renewal. This place was really nice 3 years ago and has since gone downhill every year. Maintenance people are helpful & responsive. Alex is great. It seems quite clear they lowered the standards of whom they rent to. Most of the reviews are right on target and accurate. Soon to be former tenant

They have not lowered for EVERYONE---Only the new residents...I HATE Plantation Lakes..I tell everyone I know to NEVER live there. The staff s horrible and the construction is insane. They never told us their plans before we moved in and during my 3rd trimester of pregnancy I had to deal with the balcony being off the stairway, nails everywhere, lights off at night, etc..We want to sue them. We took MANY pictures! Thank god we're out!
