Even though you are technically in Sanford, you are only a two streets from Heathrow and Lake Mary. The location of the complex is PERFECT and with their two months free rent pro-rated, the prices aren't bad at all. I have a 1600 sq ft apt with attached garage and pay 1000$. A thousand dollars may sound like a lot, but after looking at other apartments and houses in the area, the space and location are more than worth it. However, the management is not the best. They rarely help you with anything, and in the past few months, they've gotten a completely new staff who aren't as familiar with the complex. The main manager is a bit of a flake, but means well and if you can get ahold of her, she's generally quite pleasant. Maintenance crew is pretty awesome, fun, and on the ball. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT/WORRY OF ALL!!! The complex has a few retention ponds and backs up the woods, so naturally you'd have some snakes. Well recently, there has been abundance of black mocasuns(spelling'). These snakes are VERY poisonous and even more aggressive. They have gone after me and my dogs multiple times and have been getting worse. I suspect some nests have developed, but management has been informed and are supposedly working on it. Parking can be a pain, but it's not as bad as other people have been complaining. However, there are a lot of teenagers and young adults and I've seen everything from drinking in the parking lots to drug bags on the ground. It has never been a big problem. I am young without children, though, so I don't know how I'd feel about it if my situation were different. Good Luck!
