When we first signed the papers to move into Regatta Shores things were great. The first night we spent there, the hubcaps on my car got stolen for the first time. I reported it to the office and they told me that they were not responsible for the parking area (in a gated community'). The hubcaps were stolen on a monthly basis until I stopped replacing them. The exterior stairs to the third floor had one rung broken from the time my furniture was delivered to the time we left. When the construction started it only got worse. The breeze from the lake would have been really nice, but the window and slider where bolted shut or the screens were ripped and the bugs would have been all over the place. When I called about the bugs, I was told that lake bugs are normal and they are not allowed to spray because of EPA regulations. Then I was told to get flying insect spray and spray that around the door before I went in the house (isn't that the same as spraying'''')

When we finally left, we were told that refund of our deposit would be in two weeks. Two months later, we finally received our deposit. I am glad not to be there anymore but I couldn't break my lease without losing my deposit.

We broke our lease and didn't lose anything. the more people who leave there they may get the hint
