i have no idea how anyone has a bad time living here. i love these apartments. the kids are curtious and everyone keeps to themselves. the staff is great and helpful. pay your rent and water online! the grounds are kept very nice. lake manroe is right in front of us with a peaceful feel. the breeze sweeps through the atriums and feels incredible. patios are HUGE with storage and sun lets you grow herbs! Utility room, which i added shelves. bathrooms and bedrooms are great sizes, with walk-in closets!I have a fireplace which i used during the winter. I LOVE MY HOME!

That's because you didn't live through the hell of rennovation that some of us did. One of the main reasons I chose Regatta Shores over another similar community in Sanford was the screened balcony. Within about 2 months of moving in, construction began, the screens were removed from my balcony and, after having been told I would be without the balcony for no more than a month, I left 2 years later without ever being able to use it. The sliding glass doors were bolted shut from the outside for security reasons and the kitchen window is just a glass pane.
Add to that my A/C did not work for most of the time and I was literally in a steam box. I had to pack up my cat and spend days at my parent's home until the maintenance man would deign to fix the A/C, which then promptly broke...again.
No recompense was ever offered for a 2 year time period with no ability to use the main feature I desired in the apartment.
I'm glad to hear that the community is nice now that the construction has been completed. But those of us who remember living through that times still have a bad taste in our mouths.

Have fun living there hope you like frog songs too and wiat until you have a problem see how they fix it oh by the way watch out for a bill when you descide to leave this place its just the begginging. I hope you would come back to this website and write same review about them
