The worst thing about this development is the seedy office staff and employees who work there. The APARTMENT MANAGEMENT staff are like characatures of SLUM LORDS. Like the last tenant who rated this place in June of 2006, the CARPET looks like its 20 years old. It REEKS of years of cigarette smoke.The carpet is 10 different shades from years of filth and fading. The carpet is TORN in the bedroom & there is an OPEN SEAM which has LIFTED across the living room, from one end to the other. In other words, you can't walk across the room without TRIPPING OVER THE OPEN SEAM WHICH RUNS DOWN THE CENTER OF THE ROOM. Everything in the kitchen and bathrooms was tinged YELLOW from nicotine & smoke. It's like living inside a cigarette filter. I spent an entire day cleaning the bathroom and an entire day cleaning the kitchen. The bathroom sink/counter has cigarette burns on the edges from the previous tenant leaving their lit cigarettes there while sitting on the toilet!
The rent is higher than anyone else in the building and everyone's rent is going up at least $50 a month when they renew their leases.
When the tenant complains about the carpet AFTER paying FIRST, LAST & SECURITY PLUS APPLICATION FEE & BACKROUND CHECK FEE, they get SURLY and threatened to throw us out for reporting pre existing unsafe conditions in the apartment. What SCUM these people are. The staff looks like they need to submit to ALCOHOL & DRUG TESTING.Look at the 1st review written in 2004. Anyone with EYES can see it was written by the APARTMENT MANAGEMENT THEMSELVES. This place could be nice if the carpet was changed (are you supposed to have to worry about breaking your BUTT when you walk around in your own apt because of the carpet') & if THERE WERE NEW STAFF. These people are getting paid for doing NOTHING but yelling at tenants and talking to them as though they were trash. They BRAG that he can have anyone thrown out that he wants to even if the doesn't like the way that people talk to them on the phone.Theye threatens to HAVE PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR TRESPASS if they complain about ANYTHING AT ALL. Talk about the patients running the assylum! Do the owners know or care that the managers they pay a salary to are yelling at and threatening the tenants when they make legitimate complaints about the safety of the apts they live in'HELL NO NO THEY DON'T.Look elsewhere to rent unless you want to live in an unsafe stink-hole with staff that demeans and berates you in exchange for the high rent you pay!

Its obvious this person just has a problem with the management, and too much time on their hands as they should know that nobody gets their carpets replaced after they moved in with pets and destroy it themselves. The property rent avg was almost 300 dollars under market rent on that property when the new managment team took over; the water/sewer bills had not been paid in years & some tenants thought they were running the community. Now almost all rents have been caught up to normal rates (still below market rent in the area), the water sewer bill in the thousands was paid for and now started all over again for a fresh start by managment, crime is almost none existent, there is no traffic coming from other properties cause of a security fence they installed and that management staff got a personal thanks by Sanford police for reducing the crime rate to almost nil on the property within one year. So for all the bad comments and sour gestures, direct them to yourselves as property managers have to deal with important issues and have less time on their hands than to deal with horrible people like you that expect everything for free.
