Spare your time and move on to the next apartment on your list. I used to live here....after all the hurricanes this place went down hill in one night!!! My pet died in the apartment due to the mold. The ceiling caved in, windows broke, and MOLD MOLD MOLD!!! The mold was everywhere. When we moved out, by no help of mngmt.... Our movers and ourselves had to wear masks and gloves. We all broke into rashes out and had greenish-brownish-blackish mold ALL over ourselves. It was disgusting!! We had a pest problem as well. They are bad being right on the water. After the hurricanes, I went through and steamed my carpets with pure bleach and hot water since the complex had no intentions of moving us to 'habitable conditions' as they are required to do so!! Even that did not help. The appliances are ANCIENT. You can do sooo much better else where. The only good thing here is the river walk. Everything else is DISGUSTING. I too, sent letters to Epoch mgt, but I soon found out they are a JOKE as well. Avoid this place and any community within Epoch. The management company is a joke and so are their communities. We went to a sister complex in Lake Mary under Epoch mgt and had issues with them too. If you are going to invest your money, cosider buying a house. I know that is not possible for all. If it is not possible, invest your money in a place you can call home, this is not it... GUARANTEED!
