Going from bad to worse...FAST!!!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I've lived in Sailpoint Apts for almost 2 yrs. When I moved in it was a really nice place and I was very happy. I had just renewed my 1 yr lease when Charlie, Frances, and Jean came thru. Charlie took the chimnies off our building, leaving the 2nd and 3rd floors uninhabitable. Since I was on the 1st floor, my place was judged ok. It was...for 9 mos when the water damage finally worked down to my place. I came home one night from work to find my bed soaking wet from a rain storm. Water had come in thru the ceiling. When I notified management, I was told they were still waiting on word from the insurance company before beginning repairs. NOTHING was done about stopping water from coming thru my ceiling. I was told in a very nasty tone that if I didn't like it, I could just move out when my lease was up...no offer of repair, compensation, or any effort to resolve the issue. A couple weeks later the same thing happened. This time the "manager" offered to let us move to a different apt in the complex. They even paid for movers. Of course we (my roommate and I) had to do all the packing ourselves, take time off (unpaid) from work, and deal with all the hassle of moving, along with extra expenses for things not paid by the management. I had left a vacuum and cleaning supplies till the weekend to clean up the old apt (as was expected in spite of it being uninhabitable). When I went back to clean up the old apt I found that my vacuum and cleaning supplies were gone. I hadn't even turned in the keys to that apt yet.
The new unit was/is infested with roaches. I dont' mean a few bugs, I'm talking billions! The stove had been cleaned with oven cleaner (self-cleaning oven) and had to be replaced. My roommate is highly allergic to the stuff and I had to threaten law suit for health reasons to get the stove replaced. The fridge STILL leaks and/or freezes things in the refrigerator part after almost 2 mos. The dishwasher didn't work and was replaced after daily calls to management for almost a month. My shower dribbles (no pressure) and there is no stopper in the tub so can't even take a bath in that bathroom.
The only way to get anything fixed is to nag management DAILY until things get done and it usually takes at least 3 or 4 times before it is actually fixed...if then.
At this point, I can't afford to move again. I would tell anyone to look elsewhere...ANYWHERE!!!!
