Be Glad You Moved From Sailpointe

Be glad that you have moved from Sailpointe. I drove near it last week and saw porta potties in the parking lot. The parking lots use to flood under normal conditions so I cannot imagine what it is like now. No, I did not drive in there because I knew some nice people there and they might be part of the misery. I am not a gawker like that. With all the retention ponds I can't imagine the mess. I lived near a very large one. The river walk is now a river. The stench is disgusting and driving down Fulton St I had to close my car window it smelled so bad. I cannot imagine life in a first floor apartment there and feel sorry for my former neighbors I liked and those who were innocent moving there.
We made it through the 3 hurricanes in 2004 without flooding but we did lose about a 100 apartments. We had fireplaces and chimneys that turned out to be fake chimneys and only 2000k boxes on the roofs. They did more damage than the actual storm.
Anyone looking at this place, run run run.......look at flood surveys for wherever you are looking before you sign a thing. They say to look back 100 years to see what something was actually built on. Barges and navy ships use to come into port there I was told. I wonder how much was filled in' I was told that there are huge fuel tanks below the parking lot near the pool. Sometimes Mother Nature wants back what we took from her so maybe that was not normal land to begin with.
I would never move back to Sanford.......the homeless run the river walk area usually and bother people everywhere. They pound on your car, demand money for cleaning your car when you never asked them to touch it and the city does nothing to help us. Drug deals use to happen right in the parking lot near the pool and no matter what was reported to the office, nothing was done. I gave up telling them things when they kept asking DID YOU SEE THIS OR THAT' DID YOU SAY ANYTHING TO THEM' GET THE LICENSE PLATE' WE had drugs, prostitution etc go on in that complex. Funny when we moved in six years ago you almost had to promise your first born to get in there. Now.......I hear nothing good, that it has a revolving door of transients and I know for a fact that all the pretty stuff they do won't make those buildings stronger. Try to put perfume on a pig........it is still a pig right' Same deal with Sailpointe. Then wait until you move out.......they will charge you for the world and demand a check then never return your deposit on top of it. The dumpster was broken when we moved and they had a giant construction one instead. How was I suppose to get moving trash into that' I tied things up etc yet they presented us with a $500 bill for cleaning AND kept 2 months rent plus our whole pet deposit. They are thieves on top of everything else.
