I have been a resident for 4 years and have finally gotten to the point I just cant take it here any more. My lease is up this month and I am LEAVING THIS DUMP.

Im not going to give a long rambling opinion, ill give you bullet points.

-2 fires in the last year
-poor construction and roof leakage(my apt was never fixed completely after the hurricanes 3 years ago)
-all cabinets (bthrm and kitchen) are rotting and falling apart.
-as i sit here and type this,my a/c is broken AGAIN. I dont mean every so often, i mean it breaks at least twice A MONTH. Ive gotten so used to it, my apt is filled with standup fans. They dont fix it EVER.
-i have blue carpet. NO ONE else has blue carpet. Im pretty sure they phased out the blue carpet after the hurricanes...i was promised new carpet but never got it. They are going to wait until I LEAVE to replace it, of course.
-the a/c unit drains directly over your head when you are standing in the shower. I have to shove cotton balls up there so the a/c runoff doesnt drain into my hair.
-the a/c unit is located in the ceiling of the bathroom and leaks all the time. Not little drip drip drip; it leaves puddles on the floor.
-dont let them tell you sailpointe only has mice. THERE ARE RATS. I have photographic proof and would love to share all the pictures Ive taken with anyone who asks.
-the bugs are out of control. Theres NO MONTHLY PEST CONTROL!!! You have to request it and then hope the bug guy shows up and doesnt just walk in on you unannounced.
-The appliances are really old. My microwave is a turn dial operated POS.
-if you need something fixed, dont hold your breath. And if its a weekend, good luck.
-my toilet has been broken for 4 YEARS. It runs all day unless you jiggle the handle incessantly. The maintenance men got so tired of fixing my toilet they LEFT THE TOOLS IN MY BATHROOM so i wouldnt have to call them all the time.
-the ghetto trash is taking over.
-lost count how many cars have been stolen and broken into in the 4 years Ive been here...over 12 at least..and thats just my little section of parking lot, not the whole complex.
-dog walkers let thier animals use the grounds as a toilet and dont clean up after them.
-the BLACK MOLD coming from the air vents is ridiculous. I complained,and nothing was done. Calling channel 9 seems to be the only way to get things done around here.
-the maintenance crew walk in unannounced whenever they damn well feel like. I work 24 hour shifts and sleep during the day. Ive been awakened several times by guys just walking into my bedroom, scaring the ---- out of me.
-the walls and ceilings are paperthin..i know my neighbors routine who lives above me b/c I can hear everything he's doing.
-I dont feel safe here at all. Between the fires, the car thefts, and the ghetto rats that live next to me and above me,and the crackheads walking around the parking lot at all hours, I cant get out of this place fast enough.


I really wish I had a website like this to refer to before I moved here. Ownership has changed numerous times since I lived here, and it just gets worse and worse. I highly recommend you look somewhere else...this place is awful.

I came to sailpointe today to check it out. Your right I could see these things because I check any place before I sign and it was plainly obvious to me and my fiance. Thanks all for your reviews I wont chose Sailpointe
