Sanford Landing Apartments

First off, Jennifer is always looking for a reason to get rid of you. She tells you to call when you have a problem but then gets mad when you do. There are always cockroaches and spiders and ants in the apartment. When you first move in they are not clean. There is a $400.00 deposit for pets which you do not get back at the end of you lease, and a secuirty deposit...talk about a rip off. The price is way to high for what you get. The carpets are dirty, along with the stove and dishwasher. The neighbors have no respect for you, they stay all up til all hours of the night knowing you get have to get up and go to a real job in the AM. The parking sucks, no one knows how to park straight. Whenever it rains I have a pond in the front which is a breeding ground for bugs! They are supposed to spray your apartment once a month for bugs, they only come when you ask them to, if that. They enter your apartment without your permission and everyone from maintainence to the bug people have a key. Bicycles and girlls are always getting stolen...hello SANFORD! Not safe at all! Laundry facilites are gross, and people leave their crap in there all day so you can't do your laundry!
Stay away from this bug infested place. Management is mean and doesn't care about their tenants. You can get much better for the money you would be paying. STAY AWAY!

I'm pretty sure the tenant who wrote this is my neighbor. I have enjoyed living in Sanford Landing for years, and have never received a noise complaint from anyone else. When this tenant moved in, life got exponentially harder. For example, this tenant was complaining to management about my dog barking constantly (untrue). In fact, the tenant continued to complain for months after I didn't even have the dog anymore; I was puppy sitting while my fiance taught English in China. Personally, I think this person is mentally unstable. She would rather call management or the POLICE than simply knock on my door and open up a dialogue. The first time she complained, I tried to go knock on her door and apologize. She wouldn't open the door. If she ever did, though,I think I'd ask her if she has some sort of miracle cure for keeping an autistic child mute 24 hours a day.

The walls and floors for that matter are paper thin. This neighbor did have a dog, and the manager Jennifer, asked me to spy on her because she was not supposed to have a dog. Her child is very loud and has no respect for others. They are very noisey, and you can hear rthem in the middle of thr night if you catch my drift. BTW I think its really immature to post about another tenant on here considering it is a review of MY experience at Sanford Landing.
Stay Away from here as I stated in the first place. NOT FRIEDNLY as you can tell from the tenant above.

I personally have never had a problem with the office staff. Also Jennifer, who by the way has been nothing but helpful even after I had moved in, is the assistant manager. If your complaint is against the manager that is someone else. Jennifer the assistant manager, has helped with everything, from complaints I have had, to providing information to me about the local area as I was new to it. The apartments are just that, apartments. They are not standalone houses. Yes, you share a wall with someone. For the price it isn't a bad deal, and the maintenance people have always worked fast any time I have a problem.
