applied at complex and paid the application fee and the holding fee, and 1 weel after so we hadnt heard anything form the company, so we went to the complex and the told us they could not process apllication until we had given the current complex that we live an a notice. we expained that we hadnt given notice because we needed to know that we had somewhere to live before doing so, i then asked them why they didnt tell us that before we applied and paid all of the fees, and they could not give an explaination and keep tripping up by saying that if we wanted to contiune all we need was this paper. at this point we had already found an other apartmnet to move into so we no longer wanted to proceed with them, they then told me that the would refund the holding fee but not the application fee. but the never processed the application, and they werent honest with us, i told them that if we would have known that they needed that for us to get approved we never would have applied with them. we are now out $95 because they were not honest with us. i have since contacted the BBB and filed a report with them, i also have contacted the management company are they are crap too. stay away!! be aware!

How would they know that you hadn't given notice if they hadn't 'processed your application?'

I know where you're coming from same thing happened to us and 2 more couples we know. Their property shows the low class service they provide. As far as the previous response goes -- he's probably staff. LOL

Yall are a bunch of idiots...anyone knows that when you are trying to get an apartment they need to know from the place you are currently living at how you are as a resident. If you dont give them notice, they wont give the info. And for all you haters out there, no I am not a staff member but I do work in the business for another company. I just want all who is looking at these reviews to know that the ones who leave these kind of responses are the ones who get Evicted for not paying their rent or causing major noise problems at the complex. Those who arent like you are still living there and unfortunately no one ever gives good news anymore, only bad news when your pissed off.

Why didn't they tell you before you applied that you needed to give notice? Perhaps they assumed (falsely) that you had common sense. As far as your claim that you did not want to give notice until you knew you had a place to live and that you found another apartment, there are 2 things to be said. 1. you knew you were leaving one way or another, so you should have given notice. 2. Once you give notice, you can always revoke it.

Oh one more thing...obviously they are still out there making money and processing applicaitons, because the BBB hasn't stopped them..so they must be doing thing by the book....they tell you in the begining that the fee is not refunded!!!
