...which is why I guess there are some bad apples in the bunch. I considered 3 different communities before I chose this one, and I don't regret my decision. The office staff was extremely helpful and polite when I made my application for residency (and they continue to be so whenever I go to the clubhouse). The grounds are kept clean and groomed. There aren't always a bunch of screaming kids running around, acting foolish and they have security that walk the grounds ALL hours of the night (the only reason I know this is because I get home from work around 2am). There are many many other good points to this community and the apartments individually, but I think I've alreay said my peace about them in response to someone's negative review. Like I said before, with the good, comes the bad...
Such as the "only cable" option (which really isn't an option, because the alternative is to have 5 local channels...that's right, no satellite option). Then there are the security gates that are constantly breaking (I've been here 3 months and they've been on the fritz just as many times). And lastly, (I know that management can only do so much regarding this) the ever growing, spontaneously appearing, piles of trash, and such, that appear at night in front of the trash compactor. I know sometimes parents send their kids to do away with the garbage, but I also know for a fact that little James and little Maria did not create that 6-foot high mountain of trash. So, if anyone who can do anything is reading this, please do something.
I like to take pride in where I live, which is why I'm writing this in the community's defense, so the least that can be done is an additional dumpster.
