Seminole Pointe

I have just finished reading a lot of negative reviews, then I happened to check the dates; almost every negative review was old - like from 2004 to 2008. A lot of things change in such a long time period. We have found the staff, whether it's office or maintenance, to be very nice & very polite, of course we are polite & respectful when we speak to them also; maybe that has something to do with how we are treated. Yes, it is noisy & some people think nothing of cursing very loud; however, there are also the neighbors who offer to help us get up the stairs with the grocery cart not because we were in their way or too slow but because there truly are nice people even in rent controlled apartments. This neighbor had already gone to his apartment & came back to see if he could help. I have known co-workers who lived in a high rent, fenced & brick wall community & had the tires stolen off his car - rims & all. So much for security. I'm not saying this is Utopia. You will find good and bad wherever you go. Use common sense to protect yourself, your family & your belongings. If it will help you feel more secure, take a course on safety. I'm sure you can find one at the local police or sheriff's department.
