Several reasons not to move here.
Number 1...my vehicle has been broken into not once but twice!!! The lighting is horrendous in the parking area. When I approached the management about this issue they said that the lighting was adequate.
Number 2...the management/front office are incompetent. I had reported a very loud neighbor to the management and their response was "You have to have a witness. Next time call for a courtesy officer." Well, the next time I called for a courtesy officer and one never showed up!!! I called the office again, and was told that I would have to call the police department. It is not the police departments issue!!! It was Village Lakes issue.
Number 3...the sidewalk just outside my apartment door sinks lower than the rest of the sidewalk, so when it rains, guess what' All the water gathers where I have to walk to get out. Again, this was reported to the management and their response was, "We will have LANDSCAPING look at it." Landscaping has nothing to do with the sidewalk being in dis-repair!!!
Just not a good place to live.
