So far I love it here. I have been here for almost 6 months. Have had no problems. Some of these reviews are ridiculous. LIke the anti child one. My children play outside all the time and are allowed in the tennis courts. Of course the workout room is off limites, for insurance reasons i'm sure. They love it here also and I have 4 ranging in ages from 3 to 13. They have made a lot of friends, ride their bikes all around and have had no problems. I have only needed maitenance once when my lock broke and they came in less than an hour and it was after hours when I called. My apt. is fine, had brnad new carpeting and squeaky clean floors.
I've ha dno problems with the gates closing on my car and go in and out constantly. Those people are probably the idiots who try to tailgate in despite the many warning signs advising against it. As far as the grounds, it is kept pretty clean. I have seen no mold, the front pool is always clean, I don't use the back pool. I certainly have had no ant problems, if so I would freak, I hate bugs. My only minor complaint is no valet garbage pickup all wekeend so it gets full fast, but I just simply bring it up to the dumpster myself on sundays. Parking has been no problems. the farthest I've ever parked is the building right next to mine, and even that is rare, only if I come home extremely late. I almost always park right in front of the path to my building. As far as charging extra for the storage, almost all complexes charge for that unless they have a 2x4 storage area on their balconies which won't do most any justice, especially for bikes. I rent a garage to keep the bikes and other items in. I am very happy here at Westlake. I am just praying it won't change, unless it gets eve better, with the new managmeent Co. which just took over, Aspen.

well I hope your kids aren't the ones that destroy the tennis courts, there meant for playing tennis not skateboarding and running around in

First of all the tennis courts were hardly every ever used for tennis by anyone, second, there is no other place for them to run around and play stuff like dodgeball without playing amongst the cars
