I just got back from scouting other complexes in the area. Westlake, in appearance, looks to be below average. I??ve lived here about six months. The parking lot is cluttered with junk cars. The landscaping is old and ugly. However, they??ve just put new landscaping at the entrance and around the office, but the rest of the complex is simply ugly. Walk ways and breeze ways are dirty. Inside our apartment it looked good at first, and then the old stains in the carpet began to show after the carpet dried and was walked on. Other things like doors being off balance and not shutting right, patches in the bath tubs, ect, were not noticed at first. Dog poop on the lawn is not picked up. On a warm day the smell is pretty bad in some areas. In all fairness, it looks like the new management might be moving in a positive direction in some areas, but it could be all window dressing. Rain gutters are being installed and they said that exterior repainting is coming. They??ve put in picnic tables, and barbeque stands, but the lawn often smells of dog poop. We??ll move on when our lease is up if more improvements aren??t made.

I've lived here for 2 years and you obviously have problems! There has never been this much improvment on this property. The new color scheme is amazing! The landscaping isnt done! they are rocking all the flower beds throughout the property! You propbably moved in before the new owners took over in April would be my guess. The office has fixed every problem I've had within 24 hrs. if you can find better good luck and good riddens. The oweners even went so far as to install trash cans and bags for animal deffication! I'm sure that wasn't cheep. I guess you just can't please the miserable

Yeah, the management will spend $$ on animals but screw the security, the main gate is worthless and the place has gone to hell! The parties are way out of control and anyone getting in is not why we pay that price. Management must be the ones reponding here...because if you were great with the property...you wouldn't be looking here! Too funny! I have lived here for a while and as soon as the lease is up...there are millions of places in this area 10X better...welcome to central Florida and $$$$ are going down...You just seem used to less that nice places.
