There were 4 Sanford Police cars that were parked infront of our bldg and they escorted a hispanic teenage girl out of the building in handcuffs with the typical wife beater shirt and huge gold hoop earrings.
They were stating the mother said she was "mui loco".
I know exactly who this girl is, she is one of the many hormonal pre-teens that are always in the hallways speaking loudly about her "tough life.. you know what i'm saying G".. to the thug she was sitting on the garbage can smoking with. They couldn't be older than 13-14.
Yeah tough life living in 1195 a month apts.. hardcore man.

The locals have decided that they are using the unlocked storage units as the new dumpster.

Still having issues with the lack of animal control.

So sorry you didn't find out the truth about this place before you moved in. Also sad to hear that it seems to have gotten WORSE since my husband and I escaped. I wish you luck getting out of your lease and give you hope that there ARE places that are cheaper and better than Westlakes.

Thanks for your comment, we are hoping to find a better place. Unfortunately it will cost us a lot to break the lease we are not sure what to do. 4 phone calls later I finally spoke with mgmt, she promised they would put out noise complaints... it's been 2 days, no notices were ever put up at this point. Another failure and more information to go into my log. I wish I could be more clear about regular apt noises vs what we deal with on a daily and nightly basis. It's pretty pathetic when we can't even hear our tv over the noise. The spiders have intensified and they are mean nasty clear/yellowish looking things that seem to have no fear of humans, like wise with the very large fat polka dot ones and large fat black spiders that hang just above your hair line in the hallways. It would be nice to be out of here sooner but part of me just doesn't want to give the apt money to not live there for a month come december. But then again we've spent more than that in hotel bills already just to get some sleep durring the week. I try so hard not to puke everytime we drive to our complex and that man is sitting there with that very very large and what appears to be a baby anaconda on his head or some sort of boa. It's disgusting and what's worse is he never has a shirt on and it's always on top of his head like a turban. I didn't think reptiles were allowed here, but apparently anything goes!

I had to break the lease to this place. It is TERRIBLE. All it is is the slums of Mexico. Car got broken into 4 times in a year. Maintanance found smoking pot in buildings. Just don't go there PLEASE... Don't give them your business.

i had a bunch of black low rent section 8's steal my tools from my truck..not to mention the Spanish music and the constant Spanish speakers yelling at each other (actually talking with each other, but as we all know Spanish people seem to have to scream to communicate) God damn it i feel like i need to carry my hunting rifle with me to go to the mail box after dark

to the guy above me first of all westlake does not accept section 8. and second just because the apartment is that expensive "------" and "spanish" people caan afford it also.
