I hate it here. All the promises that were given to me when I first came here were lies. There is no security, parking lot lighting is bad. The lights are always blown. Drug deals happen right before my eyes. Maintance and management are a joke.
They have visited known convicted drug dealers on personal time in the complex. The trash compactor has been out of order for a month now. The (FREE)valet trash pick up isn't free,they add a $15 fee to your monthly bill! Oh, by the way, as of Jan 1st, 2009 there will be no more valet trash pick-up. So now I have to load up my trash in my car and drive it to the dumpster located in the back of the complex. Parking sucks. Sometimes I have to park 3 buildings over in a dimly lit parking lot where people walk thier pit bulls and other large dogs, that poops wherever they like. I thought there were not any aggressive dogs allowed!!! In closing, the hot tub is broken 90% of the time, hookers visit the property often at night, loud parties, lousy management. Best of all, I saw laundry hanging from balcony today. Come by and see for yourself!!! Update...now we have to look at trash on the ground when we pull in to the property!!

I totally agree with you.. My lease ended recently, and it couldn't have been sooner! The people that live in Westlake are scummy, and the staff is almost as bad! There are always a bunch of parties and people randomly hanging out on your car in the parking lot at night. And there is NEVER any parking! I had to buy mace because of how unsafe I felt walking 3 buildings away to my apartment. There is no lighting in the parking lots as well, because they are always broken and the LAZY maintenance never fixes it. My dog CONSTANTLY had fleas and worms living there because people are so unconsiderate with their dogs, and since I have moved out he has been flea and worm free since. It's a real shame, because this complex has the ability to be a nice place to live. But between the trash that they lease to and the lazy staff/maintanence, the place is really going down hill! Good luck with everything... hopefully your lease will be up soon and you will find a nicer place to live. I couldn't be happier now that I don't have to worry about my safety and property living at Westlake!
