Here are a few tips before you decide to move so sunny Florida. Ever hear the saying, "It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there"' Termites, Noisy Apartments, Mold, Red Ants. Think twice before moving here from out-of-state. The apartments are a dime a dozen, with the come-ons from leasing agents selling reduced rents, three months free, etc. The apartments are beautiful in appearance until you move into one. Once you move in, you will here the same-old-same-old from your management. You'll have a complaint and as dumb as they think you are because you are from " OUT-OF-STATE" SUCKERS NOW THAT HAVE BEEN LURED INTO THEIR SUCKER LEASES! Mold in your apartment' This is Florida...there is mold all around outside...maybe you shouldn't live here. Ha! That fungus should be growing outside, not inside ya leasing whackos! Flying bugs inside my apartment. Again, you'll hear this is Florida! You know what those flying bugs are guys' Termites! Hellooooo! Complain about an infestation of ants or cockroaches [what they like to nicely call huge Palmetto Bugs here]. You'll hear it again, this is Florida! Ha! How would you like to live with them' Come on Leasing Agents and Owners! They should be living outside. Why are they in your apartment' Because of leaks! The bugs are nesting in between the walls! But hey! Those agents just made a nice little profit on the "Out-of-State suckers"! So they would like to think. We may be from out-of-state, but we are not hicks and idiots.

You will see soon find out how much you give them when you naively sign their lease without reading 10 pages. You are just giving the leasing agents a nice chunk of change for them to keep. But hey, you aren't paying first or last month's deposit. Nice deal right' Think again folks.

The best time to move here is in the summer before all of "what the Floridians call snow-birds come". You will get your best deals then. I highly suggest you get the newspaper delivered and look before you move here. You will probably get a better deal from a homeowner who will be renting to you. At least they are probably just like you "out-of-staters". A lot more honest.

The majority of the insides of these places are pretty little shells just painted up and shoddily constructed with astronomical asking prices. The outside grounds are usually gorgeous, the leasing agents are only more than willing to help because they are luring you in for their commission.

Hey everyone, young and old. Don't read this and move in and then say you weren't forewarned because we are one of the many "out-of-state" suckers who moved here and know only too well!

You will be in the comforts of your own "out-of-state" home searching the internet and looking at these so-called luxurious places with all the amenities. And believe me, they do look puuurrrrty. But, don't they just look a little bit too puuurrty' or pretty.

It is hysterical until you are the sucker!

guess how much your leasing agent makes? maybe $10.00 per hour and any where from $25.00 to $100.00 per lease its the manager and the owner who makes the money and P.S. I don't no any leasing agent with a college education! Trust me when I tell you your leasing agent thinks what she is telling you about mold etc. is the truth because she has trusted her manager and owner with what they should tell you...the residents
