There are plenty of apartment complexes in Sarasota. You are only asking for trouble if you pick this place. Don't just choose a place quickly because it is inconvenient. Do your homework and question many residents before moving in and ask their opinion.

Remember you also have to pay for your own water here and it is expensive. Costs add up and there is plenty of competition out there. Save yourself the aggravation.
