My significant other and I have lived here for the past 7 months. Overall, it is a slightly above average residence. In the last half year, I've had 6-7 maintenance calls, AC troubles twice, *way* too many bugs, various problems with the unit's plumbing and construction quality... but it is to be expected from a building thats 15 years old.

On the plus, parking was great, so was maintenance response time. The management was also stellar. The pool was always kept clean and the hot tub was only broken very briefly during my stay. In regards to the fitness room, I can't say I've ever seen anyone use it... its worthless... especially with the YMCA 5 minutes away and a 24/7 commercial, private gym literally 20-45 seconds down the road depending on a green or red light :P

Also, the tenant situation. I've had good neighbors, and bad ones since I've been here. Like any place, you will get a bad egg near you at some point, but they were evicted within 3 weeks after a police drug bust. Voices travel very easily into the outside hall and vice versa, but other areas of the apartment are pretty much silent with the exception of water piping. Though bass does rattle the building like a leaf, for the most part tenants are respectful of their neighbors and a friendly knock on the door will clear anything else up, and if that fails, a police call tends to do the trick.

Our carpet was new, but the walls and ceilings had a plethora of patched holes. The AC filter hadn't been changed in years until I called, and was rusty and despicably dirty. The bathroom was rusty and so on and so on as per a 15 year old building goes...

In summation, the apartment is a suitable rental facility, but you really pay up for the location you find yourself in. Is it worth it' That is up the tenant, but I'm moving on.

PS, I'd advice staying away from the back corner (building 7) as the adjacent houses party through the night on many occasions, are seperated via wooden fence, and have thrown beer bottles into our parking lot on multiple occasions leaving the wind to clean up the glass over the period of a month. Surprisingly, I never saw a car hit with a bottle.

PSS. The kitchen was pathetic, luckily we primarily eat out.
