As soon as we moved in the problems started. Ice maker broke, dishwasher broke, closet doors broke, toilet broke, air conditioner broke, major water leak in bedroom, leakey window. Minor problems were fixed, but only after we were made to feel like they were all our fault and we were bothering the staff with these problems. The air conditioner runs almost 24 hrs a day and our first electric bills were $300.00 a month and is still not fixed after two months.(we moved from another apt complex in the same area that we lived in for 4 years and our biggest electric bill was around $160-170.)The maintenance staff does not know how to fix the a/c and they make up excuses for it each time they come out. We were told "it's just hot in florida. Buy some fans". Well, let me tell you that i was born and raised in Florida and this is Bull and very poor customer service. It has never been cooler than 75 degrees in the apartment no matter what the thermostat is set on and it has to run constantly to get to that. The average temp during the day with the thermostat set at 75 is 79-80 degrees. How would you like it if your cars a/c went out and the mechanic told you "oh it's just hot in Florida. Put a fan on your dash board and you'll be ok." Bet you'd find a new mechanic! It's utterly rediculous the service we have gotten here. They attempted to fix a water leak but it has returned as well. Did i also mention the rotten wood the construction team found during the first repair attempt. A construction worker told us that he did not know how the upstairs had not fallen down into our apartment due to the support beams being so rotten. He said they just crumbled in his hand when touched. We are considering legal action now to get them to fix the a/c and water leak issues. We will move out as soon as we can!! I have lived in numerous apartments in since 1987 and this is easily the worst place i have ever lived!

I found this review while researching electric bills here in FL. I live in the same complex and we keep our A/C at 78 and it STILL runs us about 180 a month. While that's kind of Florida at it's finest, it doesn't excuse the office's response. Most of the time it's Dawn, a cranky woman who I'm not entirely sure is aware she's at work half the time. I'm sure she's great conversation, but as someone you write a rent check to, complete garbage. If you move in here, make sure you do everything you can to ensure the apartment you move into is acceptable, which will include forcing Dawn to do the walkthru with you, and not while you look over the lease by yourself.
