Years at this apartment:
2005

2007
I have lived in some horrible places in my life, but this one takes the cake.
The overall quality of my apartment was fine was fine. Yes, it had shabby carpets, mold in the tubs, and yes, even a slightly disturbing smell...but, I've lived in a house where the basement flooded a good foot of water every few months and was riddled with fleas upon move in...so I thought it was "okay".
That was before the 3rd generation of management I experienced in my 2 years upon living there.
CONSIDER THESE ISSUES BEFORE RENTING:
If you are 10 minutes late on your rent, plan on paying the 75.00 late fee. If you love the sight of 100 dead termites on your kitchen floor after a "swarm", go for it. The silverfish will just be an added "treat". If you don't mind showering every 4 days, because they can't fix the "water problem"...it's just right for you. If you adore the "chicken soup and Coca-Cola" smell leaking from your bathroom, lucky you. AND...
If when you decide to leave, you don't mind them taking your entire deposit and sending you a bill 6 months later for almost a grand for "carpet cleaning fees" and "miscellaneous charges", have at it.
Seriously, I received an email 6 months after move out (to which the email header was "HUNIGTON PLACE" and ... the staff member spelled her own name wrong) which told me they have tried to contact me and essentially I better pay up and threatened to ruin my credit score. Very professional!
HA! They had my phone number, email, and forwarding address...and all of those contacts didn't work for 6 months' That's the amazing work of Huntington Place.
Even though they weren't the management when I signed on...and they signed off on my final rent payment, they still came back to me with a 800.00 bill for cleaning. Ridiculous. Why was this not addressed when we dropped off the keys'
Take these reviews as you will, but I beg you to look elsewhere..
