STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

When you take a look at the model apartment they will show you upon inquiring about these apartments, you will be impressed. It is beautiful. Deceiving!!!! We got suckered in under very false pretenses. This is the worst apartment community I have ever seen or heard of for that matter. The management at the time of our lease was really great. Sandy and Wanda are really nice people. The maintenance guys were friendly and helpful. Always a wave and hello. Made you feel welcome. THEN HERE COMES NEW MANAGEMENT!! Kendall is the new manager. They couldn't have found a more rude, uncaring human being for this job than this woman. I must tell you that we had a water leak underneath the cement in our bedroom. The whole carpeting was soaked. We hurried and took everything out of the room so we didn't have our belongings ruined. The queen sized mattress went in the dining room, the dressers in the living room and on the lanai, clothes all over the house. They came to "fix" this problem....pulled up the carpeting and padding and dug up the cement to get to the broken pipe, which by the way had busted a year ago and they never fixed it properly. While they were doing this "digging" they proceeded to splatter mud all over my new curtains and pictures and clothes and walls. Now mind you, for 2 1/2 WEEKS! we lived this way. No bedroom for 2 1/2 weeks. Luckily we had a pull out couch to sleep on. Otherwise it would have been the floor! The reason it wasn't fixed for this long period of time' There was a main water line break in the parking lot which of course was more important than a good tenant who paid their rent and their extremely high water bill on time EVERY SINGLE MONTH! It was nothing to get a water bill for over $100, and we were very very careful of our water usage. The more people that move out, the higher your water bill. It doesn't matter how much water you use because they never read your meter.
Finally after several men in and out of our apartment over this 2 1/2 week period, we got our bedroom back. They dried the carpet with these machine, which they gave us and ran off of our electric bill, and it was noisier than you can imagine. We had to run that for two days straight. Then they threw the carpet back down and it was lumpy and not positioned back into place properly. They never did get all the mud off the walls and the ceiling that they tore apart to put new pipes in, was never fixed. The maintenance man told us they would fix it after we moved out. I guess they knew no one stuck around this dump very long! The kitchen cupboards, which before moving in we were told they would probably be the nice new white ones like in the model apartment, are literally falling apart. Our drawers in the kitchen did fall apart and after a month of asking Kendall to get someone in there to fix them, my husband fixed them himself. My patio door screen was missing upon moving in and was never fixed properly. It was missing again when we moved out. The do not let you know they have pest control there. BUT only when you have a bug problem. Not preventative bug control, only if you have them, which we had a terrible roach problem in the kitchen when we moved in. The small kind that multiply like rabbits. And flying ants are abundant. We did finally get the ant problem solved after a few months of complaining.
And you can't use the pools because they are being used by people who don't live in the complex. A ton of kids ride their bikes in and make themselves at home in the pools. I complained about this and of course this did not help. A fight broke out one time and we had to leave because the one group left to get a gun. And the basketball court we use to enjoy is being used by outsiders for basketball games. They pull there cars up, play there music REALLY LOUD and proceed to have a good old time. And I mean a LOT of people, not just a few. And then there was a fight one afternoon between the neighbors across the street and the druggies a couple of doors down. The police are usually there on a regular basis for some reason or another. The Friday night we were moving out, there were people sitting on their cars playing music and drinking beer. It looked like straight up ghetto. And you can have all of this and too much more to mention, for only $739.00 (The rent raises everytime you renew your lease) for a two bedroom. I have to agree with the person who wrote the other review....It needs to be torn down and they could put up another million dollar high rise here.
So if you like noise and don't care about anything and deal drugs and drink constantly and play loud music and have no respect for anyone, not even yourself... this is the place for you. If not, STAY AWAY. You have been warned!!!!!!
