Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I have lived at The Lexington for 2 years. When I viewed the show apartment I was specifically told for a $50 premium I could have new white cabinets and new carpet. I declined for financial reasons but I in no way felt ?suckered? under false pretenses. When the Lexington was going through remodeling I saw the new manager outside with her maintenance crew sweeping and pressure washing stairways to get ready for the painters. When our parking lot was being re-striped, although we received several newsletters warning us to move our cars, I watched Kindle and Bill personally knock on several doors to save tenants who did not listen, the towing fee.
I had a water leak in August. The manager took my last 6 water bills; which, are about $40 per month and credited me the overage. Then she personally shoveled a truckload of rocks to make a drainage ditch. When I asked her why she smiled and said they were a little short staffed. I have always gotten great service from Bill the maintenance man who?s been here for years and Wanda the leasing consultant always greets me with a smile even when she has a line out the front door.
Although this is a very old complex, to live in Sarasota for $559 a month is a bargain!!
