So far, I love my apartment and neighborhood. My husband and I have lived here since July 2007. We haven't had the need to call management for any maintanence problems, but the experiences we have had with management have been positive. I've never felt unsafe here at all. I wouldn't even mind walking around the grounds in the middle of the night by myself, really. The location is very convenient to most of Sarasota as well, although most anywhere in Sarasota is more that 15 minutes from wherever else you want to go. The whole neighborhood is quiet. I was very suprised when after 9 months we had no problems with noise from upstairs neighbors. I would very confidently recommend Heron's Run to anyone just starting out, as the prices are very reasonable. The neighborhood seems to be mostly younger people in college (who are quiet) and retired people. Overall, I'm very happy with Heron's Run.
