I recently decided to renew my lease. I then asked the office manager for renewal rates. He quoted me a particular rate and then a week later my wife and I arrived to resign at that rate. We were then given an increase twice of what was orinally given a week earlier. My wife and I explained to the manager that it wasn't fair. Well after a raise in the voice and an I have had a bad day from the manager we walked out to find a much more reasonably priced apartment. Be very careful & check prices.
