I have read the other reviews and this is the truthful experiences my family has had here. Up to the signing of our lease, the staff was very plesant and helpful. We have always paid our rent on time and are ---- about picking up after our dog. It's just the sanitary thing to do. Stated in the lease there is a $50 fine for careless owners who do not pick up after their dogs. Well, our dog is a "senior" and has a compromised immune system, so any bacteria will affect him. This would not have been an issue if the leasing office would have stuck to their lease. Many of the tenants would not pick up their dogs' feces. Our dog contracted a bacteria in his intestines from other irresponsible owners' dogs. We contacted the office and was given the run around. "I don't know whose dog dat iz" was the response the leasing agent, Autumn gave me. So, we got the apartment numbers of the owners and they were given a written warning to pick up after their dog. This lack of inforcing their own lease cost us $500 in vet bills.

Then, at 1:30am on a early Monday morning, I was awaken by thousands of what looked like flying ants in my bedroom. They were on the walls, in the curtains, in my bed, and on me. As my partner and I tryed to frantically start killing them, I had to resort to the vacuum, because we could not kill them fast enough. We noticed that some of the bugs didn't have wings, so we called maintence. Two hours later, a maintence guy arrived and investigated the room. It turned out the bugs were termites and that they had eaten their way through the baseboard into the room. He taped on the wall and confidently said that the termites had infested the wall and they would have to rip in out. My partner and I both had to miss work the next day, and you bet your sweet ass we were up at the office as soon as it opened. We brought some of the bugs in a plastic baggie. Greeted by Ricky, another leasing agent, cockily asked what he could do to help us. We told him we wanted to speak to the Manager, Debbie (who is now fired). He disreguarded us and asked to see the bugs. He goes, "Oh, I know what these are! They're a type of flying ant and it's their mating season right now. You'll have to deal with them for another two weeks." I told him that the maintence guy said that they were termites and he told me no. "This is Florida, we have bugs here, you'll have to deal with it. It's not like New York." Needless to say, they had a specialist come in and the man said that the only way to rid the infestation was to tent the entire building and bomb it. We were moved to a different apartment, but the problem was solved by them spraying raid in the baseboard cracks and re-painting. They have since re-rented the apartment (approx. 2 weeks after our incident).

My recommendation is if half-ass maintence, one competent leasing agent, Lori (the rest to chose from are a tenessee hick trying to be ghetto, a pompous-egotistical man who has the intelligence of a crayon, and his wife--a perfect ass-kiss to her man.) and a lease which is continously broken by the complex itself, then rock on! This place is for YOU!
