how about everyones favorite!!!!! RATS !!!
The fear of all suburbia was confirmed for me Last night i saw a rat run under my dishwasher then i listened to it scramble up the wall and run across the cealing and then i realized that there are more than one probably like 4-10 cause when i hit the cealing with my fist they all started running. my dog was going nuts i have not told my fiance yet she is going to scream and run away. I always hit my head on the ceiling fan.
ok now on to the whole story,
when we first moved in the manager was probably 24 years old. He was imature and would sit outside drinkin beer with my neighbor, which was odd at first but I came to like the guy. Maintenance was quick to help me and always friendly towards me. they understood that the place was built in 1972 and that the construction was pretty poor. they replaced our entire ac unit inside and out. which i am very great full that they did that then.
now our new manager is a middle aged woman who can be very nice (at times) and has been working on cleaning the place up but she hired a new head maintenane and fired our loved miquel who always helped me above and beyond. and now i have this guy who drives an old station wagon with a ladder hanging out the back and hates me!! he never answers any of my calls, they glare at me when i wave. told them about rats and spiders and they just say they will put in a request for the exterminator next month!!! never seen this guy when it came to the spiders, now i hope he shows up for the rats. the floor upstairs is so squeeky!! every step squeeks on the stairs. the wall by the front door is not attached at the bottom and it wobles if you push it. the front door is rotten all the way through on the bottom. The attic is not divided from your neighbors so hopefully they wont have kids who want to come check out your place! literaly i could climb up in thru the crawl space an go 4 feet and come down my neighbors!!!. my truck was broken into and everything stolen from it. I have been scamed by crackheads with sympothy stories for a few bucks at my door. now i will never give a stranger money (hard lesson to learn). The neighborhood kids run amuck!! they are always in the street or at the pool talking about wich gang they run with. always hear screaming from the pool and people drunk or high in the afternoon.
the other week cops told me to go back inside because they were letting the dogs loose!!!! i never found out what that was about.
The day we saw our appartment wich was after we paid our deposits and first months rent. My fiance cried. the back yard looked nothing like the model. it was a total disaster. but after several hundred dollars and many many afternoons and evenings i have created a nice little utopia outside.
but with every thing else this place sucks dont move in if you have any respect or concern with your health and state of mind. I still cant believe that we have rats........ she screamed and now is crying......
