An honest review From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/30/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   I can only speak from my personal experience, but overall it has been very good as compared to other complexes. The Bad: gate, parking, price The Good: quality, quiet, safe, flexible renewal options, location Gate: More for show than security, three cars can get through with one opening. One good thing here - they can program the gate to your cell phone. Parking: Plenty during the day, but difficult at night (after 9pm). The later you come home, the further you will have to walk. Price: Comparable to other places if you prorate the move-in specials over the lease, perhaps a bit more still. I got the first 6 weeks free and a couple hundred off the 3rd month. When it came time to renew the specials were only modest and I decided to go buy a condo instead. Quality: This is why it is worth a bit more than other places. The landscaping looks great. I have high ceilings, crown molding, track lighting, and a roman bathtub. When people walk in, they say this is really nice, fancy, impressive. Important to me, since I am a young professional. I have no bug problems (but I keep the place very clean). Quiet: I can hear people when they walk by my door, but no noise from within other units. I can hear the trash get picked up at about 8pm. Who cares' - they are taking away my trash for me. From the balcony, I can hear the highway, but certainly not from inside with the windows closed. Safe: I am a young woman and feel very comfortable here even when I come home late and have to walk far through the parking lot. Renewal options: I think I had four different options. 12-month, 7 month, month-to-month, home buyer program (lets you break a lease more easily). Location: The location is so great that I bought a condo only minutes from here. You can easily get to Tampa, Clearwater, or St. Pete. A couple more things: When I moved in mid-summer, the AC was broken. It was fixed the next day and they gave me a bottle of wine and a nice corkscrew along with many apologies. There are rumours on this site that the place may go condo - I haven't heard anything about it. If I could get an assigned parking space, I would greatly consider buying it.
