When I first moved to Echelon the property was being maintained rather well. Everything looked neat and clean. However, this did not last long. Management changed and so did everything else.

Now what you mostly see are the maintenance crews sitting around on their golf carts shooting the breeze when they could be fixing things that are broken; i.e., plumbing, light fixtures, common area lights, picking up trash on property and so on.

The parking is a nightmare and I have a garage! Management does nothing about tenants/guests parking in areas not designated for parking.. so more times than not I have difficultly getting out of my own garage. After repeated requests for help and nothing being done to improve the situation.. I've given up.

Also, the noise is horrible. Take stock in what you read on this site.. it is true. You can hear people in the bathroom, you can hear their music, their T.V., their conversations.. not to mention the traffic from the highway with all doors and windows closed! My neighbors have a clock that chimes every 15 minutes and of course the loooong hourly chime. I hear every single one of them from any room of my apartment. And did I mention... I'm on the 3rd floor. So don't think you're going to escape this by being on the top level. You aren't.

The "security" gate has been broken more than not in the entire 2 years I've been here. And there really is no security with the gate even when working. People just wait until they can follow someone in. Also, apparently there is a 4-digit access code that can be used at the panel for opening the gate and it is given out by tenants to their friends.

And speaking of security. You don't know who is being given the key to your apartment. A neighbor discovered a key in my door and my door not closed one afternoon. An outside contractor was in my apartment and had just left my door open with the key in the lock! Anyone could have taken the key or entered my apartment.

Be aware that keys to all the apartments are just left hanging on a board in a hallway area of the Leasing Office.. anyone can go in and grab keys to the units. They are not signed out.

The grounds and breezeways are not maintained. The breezeways are filthy and have spiderwebs, dead bugs, trash and smooshed dog poop that will remain for weeks on end and nothing done to remove/clean it up. The breezeways used to be washed on a regular basis. This hasn't happened in over a year and a half. Of course the maintenance staff are too busy chatting it up on their golf carts!

It really is a shame the complex has continued to degrade just in the time I've been there. I'm looking forward to moving out.

1. If you are so miserable then why did you stay in the apartment for two years. I know if i did not like the place I was living I would have moved out.

2. Every Apartment that you live in no matter where it is.. YOU WILL HERE YOUR NEIGHBORS... The units are on top of one another... DID YOU NOT THINK OF THAT BEFORE YOU MOVED IN..... HELLO.

3. It is not a security gate it is a courtesy gate. And yes just like all the other apartment comlexes that you will ever live in, someone can follow you into the apartment complex. AND THE GATE BREAKS...Just like all the other apartment complexes.

4. The Keys are locked up and you have to have a security card and know the passcode to open the box to get the keys. Also did the outside contractor take anything? Probably not and the reason is because he makes to much money to be fired from something so small.

5. Yes the Breezeways were pressure washed with Bleach to keep the area clean. BUT OF COURSE People complained about the pressure washing.

6. IT is difficult to try and keep close to 1,000 people with over 1000 personalities consistently HAPPY.

WHy dont you try to find something positive in your life to focus on... ALSO You are the type of person that makes everyones life miserable because all you do is complain.... SHUT UP!!!! No one wants to here you.

To zyy12345As for your last comment. Sounds like it's time for a change of job. You sound burned out and bitter.
