Some buildings not going condo right now' From: exhomeowner Date posted: 11/26/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   I heard that Building 10 got notices that they will not be converting immediately because only 10-20 units in the whole complex have been sold. Their building will be left as apartments for now so they can stay. It sounded like it had something to do with the bank financing of the deal. What I don't understand is why it would make a difference...people are moving out in droves and the complex is now branded as planning to go condo, so I am left to wonder how they will get new renters to replace those that have left. I would assume that the bank wants rentals that are rented, or it wouldn't make any difference! If anyone else is aware of any of this, I'd love to hear what you know.
