Yo!

Change of heart

Up until ironically my rent increase in November of $50.00, I rarely had a problem. All of a sudden, my apartment has black bugs, nobody can kill them, they fly around the bathroom. I told them they are in the fan and bluntly was told they don't spray where they cannot see.

The apartment itself is okay; appliances basic but work fine.

Where the change of heart comes from is the low class of scum they are allowing to move in. When I moved here, sure you'd have a couple bad apples. I'm seeing nastier and nastier vehicles with seedy characters, and people pull up, a guy goes out, and meets them then off they go and they guy goes back upstairs. I saw that up by the front by the office. THAT was a drug deal...just like what you see on "COPS".

Tonight, I was doing laundry; thought I would run and get my dryer sheets and then the phone rang...long story short, I got back 20 minutes later, my entire laundry contents GONE. All dress slacks and nice shirts.

I'm sorry for those who read the positive reviews and moved in here...really, I had a decent review before. Mgt has always been okay to me, accomodated the needs.

I've seen the water shut off LITERALLY without exception 40 times in the past year. Rocket scientry designed apartments where if one person needs their toilet fixed, the entire complex goes down... where have I been when it went off...oh in the shower last time. Then we get a letter where they want us not to use the disposal and watch what i flush. They had a jack hammer in the hall a month ago, raw sewage included...they blasted out a chunk of the middle hallway.

Hmmm what else... oh, in the past month, my vehicle was scratched by an adult moving out. He was being evicted (I assume)...carrying his crap back and forth past my vehicle. A neighbor saw his couch rub past the entire length. Of course, he denied it, Bel Aire wouldn't discuss his name, he wouldn't say his name, and I called the st pete police and got a report but he was gone before I got any further.

My advise is to really really inspect your apartment; check the lighting at night, and there is a big difference at least here since they let in scum bags...as evidenced by the nasty cars. So if there are nasty cars, assume the tenants are too.

Now, if you still rent there, good luck...because I'm not going to re lease next year.

My origial was positive because they remodeled the apartment for me to stay...they changed carpet, and spruced up the place. Even that won't keep me another year.

How is a sheriff living anywhere going to feel unsafe? The same officers are given discounts to live there and that's why there's an incentive.

Also, I didn't come to this site looking for a new place while living at Bel Air. Nor did I make a post during that time. I waited until I moved. No embelishment, no lies, just straight talk with black and white facts.

It's nice to know at least someone had a good experience at Bel Air. But it doesn't mean any of these posts hold less weight because of yours.

It says you've lived here from 2006-2006, just wait. I have to agree with hypercyber99 here.
