I definitely WOULD NOT recommend living in brandywine apartments. To start off, the staff has no concern for the safety of it's residents. there have been several instances where there were maintenance emergencies that were flat out ignored (including potential fires and floods). They are almost always rude and dismissive when I call to speak with someone. When someone finally does come to fix whatever is broken it is never done properly. I have had a broken toilet since the day i moved in and it still overflows constantly. There is a water drainage problem that they allegedly have been trying to fix. It makes getting to and from your car a major hassle. You just have to go to work with soaked shoes and pant legs. There is only one place to drop off your trash in the entire complex. This means either having to walk like half a mile to throw away your garbage or driving it down in your car. That doesn't stop them from charging a waste disposal fee every month. Plus, if you leave it outside of your door they charge you 25 dollars. If you don't pay your rent by the third they charge you 100 dollars. I've never had to pay these fees but the fact that they exist is disappointing. Another thing that is not good is the laundry facilities. Most of them have one washer and one dryer, neither of which is big enough to wash things like towels or comforters. The one place that has more than one is located behind the leasing office next to the pool. It can only be accessed when the pool is open (and it is often closed before the time it is supposed to be closed). My fellow residents are in such competition to get their laundry done that you often see other people's wet clothes strewn about the room. The most annoying part about the whole laundry process is that you have to buy a laundry card. You can only buy the card with a five. You can only charge the card when the leasing office is open and the machine doesn't take ones. This is all very inconvenient for the residents. i work in the health care field and do not have your typical 9-5. Many of my fellow residents are students who also are working. I suppose that this company just doesn't care about their residents' schedules either. Don't even get me started on the bugs. I wish I could just pay a couple of hundred bucks to get out of my lease but they don't offer that option. You are responsible for the rent until your lease is up or until they can fill your apartment. Who knows how long that could take' They have difficulty keeping people there. I knew one family that only lived there for a week before deciding it was too crappy to live in. Yes, the price is right and it looks good from the outside but please, Whatever you do, DO NOT move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely. I encourage everyone who's had a problem with this place to please file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contact the State's Attorney's office.
