Everyday my husband and I wonder what the heck we were thinking when we decided to move in to this place. We remember that we were weary and needed to decide before we could return to our hometown. This, unfortunately, was the last place we looked. When we first remember back to signing the lease, etc., we remember one great thing about the place--the grounds. Now, suddenly, even that looks like complete crap. The grass is completely brown, the buildings need repainting, garbage is all over, you name it. Our apartment also has ants, they painted over wallpaper before we moved in, the old, ragged carpet is coming up around almost every edge, and, let's face it, the place is way too expensive for what you get. Now, the main thing is that repairs take forever. The other posts have mentioned weeks, well, how about months''!! We just got our sliding screen door replaced after 5 months!!!! Some things have still not been addressed! At this point, we don't even care because we have been to the office and begged and pleaded with the managment people to fix things until we are blue in the face. We have just pretty much given up. We are considering paying the exorbitant fee to just get out of the lease. This is how unhappy we are with the place as a whole.
And, if all of this still does not deter you, then the lack of closet space will hopefully frighten you!

the place has been painted the garbage all over the place is from the tenants because they are to lazy to pick up after them selfs also they only have one maintenance man for the complex and he runs back and forth between both probertys also a sliding screen door is not a emergency,or the maintenance staff did not recieve your request from the office

hillbilly billy - lets say everything you say is true; It's not an excuse, nor does it change the facts. Who wants to pay a high rent to live with garbage (both the tenants AND their sloppy product)and an office that doesn't care enough to screen these tenants nor pay for sufficient maintenance staff. And a sliding door that does not work is a fire hazard, but I guess an ignorant redneck who probably smokes and will set his own and his neighbors apts on fire one day doesn't think of that.

It used to be great, then Cassie the Manager came and she couldn't manage anything. I have no idea why ING keeps her on. She has let the entire Bridgewater Place/Westport Colony go down hill and is probably the rudest, most inefficient person I have ever met. ING is a huge corporation, there is no excuse for letting people live like this. If you know of anyone thinking of coming here, tell them to stay away, far away. This place should be reported it is so bad, and Cassie should definately be fired. Apparently, when you are a Big corporation and you have lots of money you don't need to give a crap about anything. One thing is for sure, I would never put my money with Ing Financial considering they can't even run a small property, doesn't say much for them.
