no longer paradise From: fromphilly Date posted: 11/21/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   I've heard rumors of the termites but I can't confirm that myself. What I can confirm is that we have some water damage in the 2nd bedroom wall from upstairs, 3 light switches that don't do anything at all, a screen for a front window that was painted on before we moved in - then taken away because of the paint - and never replaced. Some wood on the balcony was 'repaired' but never painted, never swept off after the work was done, and left some nailgun nails laying on the ground even. Night of 11/19/05 someone broke into about half of the mailboxes, prying them open. The hot tub has worked maybe 2 or 3 weeks of the 11 months I've been here. But hey, at least they're raising our rent by $30/mo if we decide to stay another year!
