an ok experience in the beginning I guess, until the last day of my lease. I moved my things and stayed up until late cleaning up my apartment, making sure it stayed as clean as can be. I'm expecting to get my deposit back, instead a month later I get charged $1100 to replace the carpet (so they say). words couldn't describe my feelings. I could not believe it!! Lord knows that carpet did not need to be replaced, I felt robbed. They wanted a to find a reason to overcharge me, I wish I could scan the pictures of that carpet to prove my point. I don't recommend calais park to my worst enemy.

I, as the Manager, do not make the decisions on which carpets need to be replaced here. We rely on our carpet cleaning company to inspect the carpet in the units at move out and tell us what needs to be done to the carpet in order to re-rent the apartment. Many carpets are not replaced. In some cases repairs can be made.We always choose to save money when we can by maintaining the same carpets. It's only in cases when the carpet cleaning company is unable to restore the carpet that we charge former residents for carpeting. In most cases the unsalvageable ones are where pets have resided. Also, keep in mind that we do not pay the carpet cleaning company for their inspections and that they get no work out of these inspections if the carpet has to be replaced, so it is just as important to them that they preserve the carpet as it is to us to save the expense of replacement.
