I have been a resident of Calais Park Apartments for 4 years. During the 4 years, the manager, staff, leasing agents and groundskeepers were very much like family. The complex is of moderate size, but the called my children by name. They were like a group of relatives to watch and tell if they were out of line. In this economy, it's also important to have people who understand your real life struggles. I went through a divorce and could no longer afford the apartment that I had. The manager not only found me a smaller, less expensive apartment, it the one right next door which made for the easiest move of my life! No matter what was going on with my financial situation, they always offered a solution. That means alot! The activities they host are not always well attended mostly due to people's schedules. But those who do come, have a great time. Even in times when the rent was late, they made us feel welcomed and not afraid to participate. I will truly miss Calais Park, as well as my children, but we are glad to have had the opportunity to be tenants there.
