For those of us that our right out of school and on a single income..this is a great place to get started. I don't know anyone who welcomes thin walls and bugs, but that is a part of living in an apartment! I have not had a problem with either so far.

I would reccomend an apartment on the 2nd floor because of potential flooding. Also check that your apartment is not right beside a streetlight.

I like that the walls are beige with white border. My bathroom is the biggest bathroom I have ever had with plenty of storage. I am tall and my shower head is high enough for me. I have a walk-in-closet with enough room for a normal person with a normal amount of clothing. The kitchen cabnets are also rather high and I like the light wood countertops and white cabnetry. My apartment is open and roomy and I enjoy being there. Laundry facilities are in every loop and mine is just a building away. Tenants are polite and I like my neighbors.

Appliances are not the best, but rent is also not as high as other apartments. Once again, appropriate for my financial situation and age.

Lawn and grounds are kept and I like the lakes and ducks around the water. Just enough children in the complex to feel like a community (what's a pool without kids!)


Management seems to be a common problem regarding reviews for other apartments. No problems yet, but my leasing agent left from the time I signed my lease to the time I moved into my apartment (a couple weeks approx.) I would have to say that this should be a wake-up call to all property management companies to perhaps seek better help and put more time into customer service.

I do think that a lot of problems can be prevented by allowing yourself enough time to select apartment before moving in (ie: not being on the floor you want to be on, or being in a building close to a main road). You don't HAVE to move into the location that leasing agents show you. Hope this helps.
