Bad management, Ridiculous Fines, Crazy Rent Hikes From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/20/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   Camden Lakes Apartments have been a complete nightmare ever since I've moved in. Besides not having water on Tuesdays for about six weeks when we first moved in, they have tried to force us to pay for services we didn't want that weren't mentioned in the leasing contract. When we finally moved out they threatened to charge us outrageous fees because we didn't pay for the cleaning service they offered. They also threatened to fine us about a year ago when we didn't accept their Valet Waste Service. They have learned that most people will cower and give in when threatened by fines. The manager is rude and unreasonable. They are also slow to fix problems. One of the burners of our stove didn't work for six months and the window remained broken the entire time we lived there.
